I recently designed a logo for Village Green, an educational gardening service. Working with schools, community projects and individuals, they teach gardening skills, develop communal gardens and offer gardening environmentally friendly services. The logo brief was to to modern, yet not to modern; nurturing; eye-catching and above all else – green! The smaller images show some of the logo development ideas, which were fine tuned to produce the final logo on the right. This shroud demonstrate that when you commission a logo you aren't just getting one final idea, but a whole lot of thoughts that all help clarify both the client and my ideas as part of the process!

Inspire Me Fit recently commissioned a couple of T-shirt designs! 'Pretty Muddy' is a team T-shirt for all their team members who entered the event this summer - they are really eye catching and helped to build the team spirit! 'Just Move' is a t-shirt for all class participants. The brief was clean, simple, but capturing the ethos of Inspire Me Fit – the exercise is for everyone and anyone can take part whatever their level of fitness.
Your logo may be small, but it is the foundation of your company or organisation's brand and probably one of the first things your clients see. Designing a logo carries a lot of responsibility and a great logo takes time. The process includes researching the business (it's offering, it's audience and it's competitors) developing initial ideas – many more will be discarded than those that are presented and revisions to fine tune until a final version is agreed. PMHA Logo Case Study: We used VIVIDesigner to design the logo for the PMHA (Paediatric Mental Health Association). We wanted something bold, modern but with a link to looking after children.
VIVIDesigner came up with several beautiful designs to chose from and it was difficult to choose. The design the Exec Committee chose has been great for websites, letterheads, twitter accounts, certificates and we recently used it for the first time on lanyards for our annual conference.
Thanks VIVIDesigner!
Dr Emma Blake, Vice Chair PMHA Over the past few weeks I have been busy designing a complete package of work for VoxBox Speaking, including logo, image library, website, and brochures. The end result is bold suite of designs and a happy client!
Cameron recently said: "I chose to work with Charlotte at VIVIDesigner after she was recommended to me by another business owner. The work she completed for me was outstanding. My website and fliers look professional. Everything was completed in good time. I plan to use her again for future projects and have already recommended her to other business." |
